Amphoe Phatthana Nikhom ( Thai : อำเภอ พัฒนานิคม ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the south of Lop Buri Province . Lop Buri Province is located in the central region of Thailand .

geography

Neighboring amphoe is seen from the north: the Chai Badan and Tha Luang districts of Lop Buri Province, the Muak Lek , Wang Muang , Kaeng Khoi , Chaloem Phra Kiat and Phra Phutthabat districts of the Saraburi Province and the Mueang Lop Buri and Khok Samrong districts in Lop Buri.

The Maenam Pa Sak (Pa-Sak River) is dammed up by the Pa-Sak-Chonlasit Dam ( เขื่อน ป่า สัก ชล ชล ) in the district.

history

The district was originally laid out in the reign of Field Marshal Plaek Phibul Songkhram .

On February 23, 1962, the "Branch Circle" ( King Amphoe ) Phatthana Nikhom was established by separating the five Tambon Di Lang, Manao Wan, Khok Salung, Chong Sarika and Nong Bua from the Amphoe Mueang Lop Buri . On July 16, 1963, it was promoted to Amphoe.

Khao Phraya Doen Thong (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เขา พระยา เดิน ธง ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Phatthana Nikhom.
Kaeng Suea Ten (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล แก่ง เสือ เต้น ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Nong Bua.
Phatthana Nikhom (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล พัฒนานิคม ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Phatthana Nikhom.
Di Lang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ดี ลัง ) consisting of the complete tambon Di Lang.

Khok Salung (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล โคก ส ลุง ) consisting of the complete Tambon Khok Salung.
Chon Noi (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ชอน น้อย ) consisting of the complete Tambon Chon Noi.
Nong Bua (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล หนองบัว ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Nong Bua.
