The Fehrbellin Office was an office in Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which 17 communities in the then Neuruppin district (now the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district , Brandenburg) had come together to form an administrative association. The official seat was in the city of Fehrbellin . The office was dissolved by law in 2003 and the municipalities belonging to the office were incorporated into the city of Fehrbellin. Last (end of 2002) it had a total of 9509 inhabitants.

Geographical location

The Fehrbellin office bordered the Temnitz office and the city of Neuruppin in the north, the Kremmen office in the east, the Nauen-Land office in the south and the Friesack office in the south-west and west, as well as the Wusterhausen / Dosse community over a short distance .

history

On May 30, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Fehrbellin Office with its seat in Fehrbellin. The formation took effect on June 1, 1992. At the time of its establishment, it comprised the municipalities (in the order in which they were named in the Official Journal):

At the time of formation, the Fehrbellin office had 9,744 inhabitants.

On May 7, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior approved the merger of the communities of Betzin, Deutschhof, Hakenberg, Karwesee, Königshorst, Manker, Tarmow, Wall and the city of Fehrbellin to form the new community of Fehrbellin. The merger only became legally effective on October 26, 2003. On October 26, 2003 the remaining municipalities of the office Fehrbellin, Brunne, Dechtow, Langen, Lentzke, Linum, Protzen, Walchow and Wustrau-Altfriesack were incorporated into the municipality of Fehrbellin by law. The Fehrbellin office was dissolved at the same time, and the Fehrbellin parish was vacant. According to the 17 united communities, today's (large) community Fehrbellin is divided into 17 districts.

Official directors

The first official director was Friedrich-Wilhelm Reimer. The last official director was Ute Behnicke, who became mayor of the new municipality of Fehrbellin in 2003.
