coat of arms
Blazon : "Split of green and gold, covered with a twelve-part wreath of stars above a wavy bar in confused colors."
The two-part coat of arms of the office parish state municipality Hennstedt indicates on the one hand the creation of the office through the merging of the previous offices parish rural municipality Delve and parish rural municipality Hennstedt in 1970, on the other hand the meeting of Marsch and Geest in the region. The wreath of stars reflects the large number of parishes belonging to the office, insofar as they are connected to a higher unit. It is also a living testimony to the European idea to which the communities feel committed. This is particularly evident in partnerships with municipalities in several European countries.
