District court Halberstadt

The Halberstadt District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of nine district courts (AG) in the district of the Magdeburg District Court .

Seat and District of the Court

The court has its seat in Halberstadt , the district town of the Harz district . The 651 km² judicial district includes the cities and communities of Groß Quenstedt , Halberstadt, Harsleben , Huy , Osterwieck , Schwanebeck and Wegeleben . Almost 70,000 people live in it.

Insolvency proceedings from the district of the AG Halberstadt are processed by the Magdeburg District Court . Central dunning court is the District Court Aschersleben , Registration Court , the District Court Stendal .

Courthouse

The court is in the building Richard-Wagner-Straße 52 housed. The building was built from 1908 to 1911 according to a design by Paul Thoemer in the style of historicism as a district court and is now a listed building .

Superior courts

The district court of Magdeburg is superordinate to the district court of Halberstadt . The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court Naumburg .
