Anastas N. Michos
Anastas N. Michos (born November 26, 1956 ) is an American - Greek cameraman .
Life
Anastas N. Micho's career began in 1987 with his first assignment as camera operator for Eddie Murphy Raw . In the following years of the 90s Michos was mainly responsible for the camera work ( Steadicam ). During that time he worked on such films as Born on July 4th , Rocky V, and Gilbert Grape - Somewhere in Iowa . It wasn't until the end of the decade that he managed to work his way up to become a freelance cameraman. With The Indian Summer - Adventures of the Indian Boy Little Tree , the first film as an independent cameraman followed in 1997 and films such as The Moon Man , Mona Lisa's Smile and The Forgotten ones followed to this day . At Shine a Light by Martin Scorsese , Michos took over camera work on a project again in 2008 after a break of more than nine years.
Michos has both Greek and US citizenship and lives in both Athens and New York.
