Anastassija Oleksandriwna Mochnjuk ( Ukrainian Анастасія Олександрівна Мохнюк , English transcription Anastasiya Mokhnyuk; born January 1, 1991 in Nowa Kachowka ) is a Ukrainian heptathlete .

Athletic career

2010 Anastassija Mochnjuk took part for the first time in a major international event, the Junior World Championships in Moncton , where she finished eleventh. In 2013 she was eighth in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg . She also won the bronze medal at the U23 European Championships in Tampere with 5898 points. She qualified for the European Championships in Zurich , where she finished 14th. At the World Championships in Beijing , she finished seventh with a personal best of 6359 points. At the World Indoor Championships in Portland , she was able to increase her best and won the silver medal.

doping

In April 2016, Mochnjuk tested positive for the doping substance meldonium and was then disqualified from April 21, 2016 and banned from April 21, 2016 to April 20, 2020.
