Relations between Andorra and Germany are friendly and without problems. Both states are members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Council of Europe and the United Nations .

The Andorran embassy in Brussels is also responsible for Germany. The German embassy in Madrid is also responsible for Andorra. Consular support is provided by the Consulate General in Barcelona . In addition, a German honorary consul is active in Andorra la Vella .

In 1994, Germany was the fourth state to finally recognize Andorra as sovereign and independent after the new constitution of 1993 was passed.
