André Felipe Ribeiro de Souza or short André (born September 27, 1990 in Cabo Frio ) is a Brazilian football player .
Career
society
André signed a professional contract with the Brazilian club Santos at the beginning of 2009 . He previously played for AD Cabofriense. He made regular appearances at the Pelé club in his first year and made it to the first team in the following season, where he scored goals with his strike partner Robinho and Neymar . In 2010 André played a key role in winning the São Paulo state championship and the Copa do Brasil . The striker began both finals of the Copa do Brasil against EC Vitória , but was replaced by coach Dorival Júnior . After a good season for André, European clubs became aware of the attacker. Finally, in the summer of 2010 he moved to Ukraine for € 8 million and signed a contract with Dynamo Kiev . After only six months, André moved to the French club Girondins Bordeaux , where he was to play on loan until the summer. Bordeaux also held an option to sign the striker. André made his Ligue 1 debut on February 6, 2011 against Olympique Lyon , when coach Jean Tigana replaced him with Anthony Modeste with three minutes remaining .
In 2011 he returned to Brazil to Atlético Mineiro . The team from Belo Horizonte awarded him to FC Santos in August 2012 and then from May 2013 to CR Vasco da Gama . In 2015 he played for Sport Recife and in 2016 first for Corinthians São Paulo before moving back to Europe in August of that year. This time he tried to gain a foothold in Portugal at Sporting Lisbon . At the club he received a three-year contract. After just six months, in February 2017, he returned to Brazil, where he signed again with Sport Recife . André changed again in March 2018. He went to Gremio Porto Alegre .
In 2020 André returned to Europe again. He signed a contract with Gaziantepspor from Turkey .
National team
André has been Brazil's national player since 2010 . The center forward made his debut on August 10, 2010, after the disappointing World Cup in South Africa, when the Brazilian Association heralded a change in terms of the World Cup in Brazil with the new coach Mano Menezes . When the squad became known on July 26, 2010, for the first international match after the 2010 World Cup, André was one of a total of eleven appointed without a previous international appearance. After all, the attacker was in Brazil's starting line-up and was replaced by Alexandre Pato in the 63rd minute in the 2-0 victory over the USA .
