Andrea Wagner is an Austrian film editor .

Life

Andrea Wagner studied editing at the Film Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna . At the beginning of her professional activity, she was an assistant editor for Juno Sylva Englander and Ulrike Pahl. She has been working as a freelance editor of documentaries and feature films for cinema and television since the early 1990s. Andrea Wagner is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films and the Austrian Film Editing Association . As part of the Austrian Film Prize 2011 she was together with Benjamin Heisenberg in the category Best Editing for Der Räubernominated. Andrea Wagner worked with directors such as Nikolaus Leytner , Nikolaus Geyrhalter , Michael Kreihsl , Michael Sturminger , Ulrich Seidl and Michael Glawogger .
