Andrew Lauer (born June 19, 1965 in Santa Monica , California ) is an American actor , film director and film producer .

Life

Lauer made his feature film debut in 1984 as an extra in the comedy film Blame It on the Night, based on the story of Mick Jagger . In 1988 he played one of the leading roles in the comedy Das Highway-Trio, alongside Peter Berg and Claudia Christian . He subsequently had guest appearances on the television series An Angel on Earth and 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer, as well as small roles in Oliver Stone's Born on July 4th and The Doors . He also had the role of Officer Wayne Kasmurski on the side of Bonnie Hunt and Michael McKean in the first season of the sitcom Grand .

In 1995 he starred alongside Peter Weller in the science fiction film Screamers - Tödliche Schreie , based on the short story by Philip K.
