Andrij Naumow

Andrij Naumov ( Ukrainian Андрій Наумов ; English transcription Andriy Naumov ; born December 21, 1973 ) is a Ukrainian long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

Career

After winning the Dresden Marathon in 2000 , Naumow also won the Munich Marathon in 2001 with a time of 2:13:57 and was sixth in the Prague Marathon in 2:12:31. In 2002 he won the half marathon course of the Regensburg Marathon .

In 2004 he finished second in the Linz Marathon , in 2005 second in the Gutenberg Marathon and winner of the Moscow Marathon . In 2006 he set a course record at the Gutenberg Marathon with 2:13:56, repeated his victory in Moscow and finished second in the Istanbul Marathon .

In 2007 and 2008 he repeated his victory at the Gutenberg Marathon, whereby the winning time of 2008 (2:11:10) was not only another course record, but also a personal best. He further improved his best performance to 2:11:06 in the Dublin Marathon 2008. In
2010, nine years after his first success, he won the Munich Marathon again.
