Andrzej Biegalski

Andrzej Biegalski (* 5. March 1953 in Gierczyn , Poland ; † 14. March 2017 ) was a Polish boxer in the heavyweight and super heavyweight .

Career

Andrzej Biegalski reached the quarter-finals in the heavyweight division at the World Championships in Havana in 1974.

Biegalski celebrated his greatest success in the Polish city of Katowice in 1975 when he won the European heavyweight championships. He defeated the German Peter Hussing in the quarterfinals with a classic knockout in the first round.
