Antonio Nariño is the 15th district ( localidad ) in the south-eastern part of the Colombian capital city of Bogotá . The name comes from Antonio Nariño , the most important hero of the independence movement in Colombia, who spent a large part of his life on a hacienda nearby , today it is the "Casa Museo Antonio Nariño". The city district is the second smallest of Bogotá and only counts about 493 hectares.

It is bordered to the northeast by Santa Fe and Los Mártires , to the northwest by Puente Aranda , to the southwest by Tunjuelito and Rafael Uribe Uribe and to the southeast by San Cristóbal . According to the last census in 2005, the district has around 115,148 inhabitants.

The first national printing house, the Imprenta Nacional , today the Museo de Artes Gráficas , was first in Antonio Nariño. Today it houses, among other things, a replica of patriotic printed matter by the national hero Antonio Nariño. The Barrio Restrepo also houses the Museo del Cuero , the leather museum, where the citizens are shown the techniques of leather processing.
