Arbeits und Arbeitsrecht ( AuA ) is a German-language specialist journal for personnel management . It appears monthly in the Berlin publishing house HUSS-MEDIEN GmbH (part of the Huss group of companies ) and combines trends in human resources management with comprehensive information on current case law and new regulations. Important topics are labor law, remuneration as well as management, leadership and organization.
history
Under the name Arbeit und Sozialfürsorge , the first year of the magazine appeared on March 1, 1946 as the official organ of the Central Administration for Labor and Social Welfare in the Soviet occupation zone of Germany in the VEB Deutscher Zentralverlag after approval by the Soviet Military Administration in Germany (SMAD). In 1959 the spectrum expanded to include questions of work, occupational safety, labor law and social affairs. From 1960 the magazine had the subtitle "Magazine for all questions of socialist work and social welfare" and from then on appeared in the publishing house Die Wirtschaft. In 1962, the journal Arbeitsrecht was merged into labor and social welfare, which u. a. led to the fact that it was given the title of Labor and Labor Law , which is still used today, in 1963 , at that time still with the subtitle Journal for Socialist Labor and Labor Law .
In the course of German reunification , Arbeits und Arbeitsrecht was published from issue 7/90 by the publishers Die Wirtschaft ( converted into a GmbH in 1990 , 100% of which was owned by the Treuhandanstalt ) and CH Beck . From July to December 1990, Arbeit und Arbeitsrecht was published with the subtitle monthly for operational practice . For the first time, publishers from East and West worked together in the field of labor law. In 1991 the two publishers founded Arbeit und Arbeitsrecht - AuA GmbH . In September 1991, the Munich publisher Wolfgang Huss bought the ReWi Verlag für Recht und Wirtschaft (formerly the Staatsverlag der DDR ), the Verlag Die Wirtschaft , the Verlag für Bauwesen and the Verlag Technik from the Treuhandanstalt . Arbeit und Arbeitsrecht has been published by Die Wirtschaft GmbH since 1996, and since 1998 it has been supported by a journalistic advisory board made up of business practitioners, scientists, federal judges and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Labor ( BMAS ) on the initiative of Wolfgang Hromadka and Rainer Sieg . The magazine has been published by HUSS-MEDIEN GmbH since 1999, after the publishing house Die Wirtschaft was merged with it on December 19, 1998. In 2003, work and labor law merged with the Personal-Profi magazine and received its magazine character, which has been continued to this day.
