Arnd Kerkhecker
Arnd Kerkhecker (born April 14, 1965 in Bielefeld ) is a German classical philologist .
Arnd Kerkhecker studied at the University of Tübingen from 1983 , where he passed the first state examination in Greek and Latin in 1989 . since 1995 as a fellow and tutor at Worcester College , Oxford . It was in 1997 with a thesis on Callimachus' Book of Iambi doctorate . After completing his doctorate, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Oxford until he was appointed Professor of Greek Studies at the University of Bern in 2003. He turned down a call to Heidelberg University (2004).
