Artiesten voor Azië was a Dutch benefit project by musicians.

It was launched at the beginning of 2005 in order to collect donations - similar to the projects Band Aid or USA for Africa 20 years earlier - with a common single, which should benefit the victims of the seaquake in the Indian Ocean of December 26, 2004.

Participants in the project include Marco Borsato , Mathilde Santing , Guus Meeuwis , Karin Bloemen , Di-rect , Ilse DeLange , Daniël Lohues , Hind , Laura Fygi , Re-Play , Trijntje Oosterhuis , Maud , Edsilia Rombley , Ruth Jacott , Raffish , Jan Smit , Veldhuis en Kemper , Men2B , Marianne Weber , Do , Sharon den Adel , Julian Thomas , Alain Clark , Anthonie Kamerling , George Baker , Ch! Pz , Jamai Loman , Jim , Brainpower , Sita , Ali B , Candy Dulfer and Rowwen Hèze .

The single Als je iets kan doen reached number 1 in the Dutch charts at the beginning of 2005 and stayed there for four weeks. A total of around 110,000 records were sold. The proceeds of around 450,000 euros were made available to the donation account Giro 555 of the Dutch Association of Aid Organizations (SHO).
