Arvid Karlsteen
Arvid Karlsteen (variants also Arvid Jonasson von Carlsteen or Karlstén ; and Artoid Karlsteen , born March 16, 1647 in Geelskogen in the parish of Carlskoga ( Värmland ); † May 18, 1718 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish medalist , coin maker and miniature painter .
Life
Karlsteen was the son of the Värmland surveyor and cartographer Jonas Kiällander and the Brita Larsdotter von Sacken .
Karlsteen's pupils were Ehrenreich Hannibal , Carl Gustav Hartmann , Benedict Richter , Daniel Warou and Benedict Westmann .

- Georg Wilhelm , Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg ;
- Ernst August , regent of the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg ;

- and three medals for Louis XIV of France .
