Asbach is a district of the Altomünster market in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau . On January 1, 1976, the village of Asbach came to Altomünster as a district from Randelsried .

The name Asbach appears in the oldest land register of the Altomünster monastery from around 1260 as "Aspach".
