The meadows are so big that they can deliver 100 loads of hay.
The word Hag is a nature name and means thorn bushes, (low) bushes or hedge. It can hardly be said whether one of the frequently mentioned “Hage” or “Hag” of the high Middle Ages in the Freising tradition refers to this Hague.
In the 12th and 13th centuries, the Scheyern monastery purchased goods here; therefore Haag is often mentioned in documents from the Scheyern monastery from the 11th to 14th centuries. In the 15th century the Nordhofer family is mentioned as the owner of a noble seat in Haag. Later the place came to Hofmark Eisenhofen .
The Thirty Years' War and the plague in its wake probably also raged terribly in Hague.
