Ascenso MX 2013/14
The 2013/14 season is the fifth season since the establishment of the Liga de Ascenso, which has recently been officially called Ascenso MX . Since the introduction of the new second soccer league in Mexico in the 2009/10 season , there have been major license postponements for the first time, which evoked a memory of the old Primera División 'A' , in which these processes were the order of the day. Because of the 15 teams from the previous season only ten remained, with only two of the five departures being of a sporting nature. In addition to the sporty first division promoted La Piedad - who does not notice the promotion, instead sold his first division license to the Tiburones Rojos Veracruz and even in the 2013/14 season will not be represented in any professional or semi-professional league - and the relegated third division, Pumas Morelos , Irapuato and Neza FC were also eliminated from the league through license sales. The five departures will be replaced by the sporty climber Galeana de Morelos from the Segunda División as well as the licensees Alebrijes de Oaxaca , Delfines del Carmen , Cañeros de Zacatepec and, most recently, the new Atlético San Luis franchise , which as a result of the withdrawal from San Luis FC from the first Liga was newly founded and de facto perceives the relegation of the Gallos Blancos de Querétaro , who will continue to play first-class as a result of corresponding license postponements.
