Athena Karkanis

Athena Irena Karkanis ( Greek Αθηνά-Ειρήνη Καρκάνη , * 1981 or 1982) is a Canadian actress with Greek roots.

Career

Athena Karkanis began her acting career in 2003 on an episode of the Chappelle's Show series . Two years later, she made a guest appearance in Missing . In 2007 she starred in the series The Best Years: On Your Own Two Feet . Between 2008 and 2010 she was a supporting cast in twelve episodes of the Canadian television series The Border . She also had the role of agent Lindsey Perez in the horror film Saw VI in 2009 , which she had already embodied in Saw IV in 2007 . In 2011 she was seen in another leading role in the showcase series Almost Heroes . She also played Nadia for seven episodes in the series Lost Girl alongside Anna Silk . In 2011 she played Rachel in a supporting role alongside Cuba Gooding, Jr. , Christian Slater and Kim Coates in the thriller Sacrifice . From August to October 2013 she starred in Low Winter Sun , a crime series that aired on AMC . Since 2018 she has played a leading role in the NBC mystery-drama series Manifest .
