The Kesselinger Bach is an approximately fourteen kilometer long, right and eastern tributary of the Ahr in Rhineland-Palatinate ( Germany ).

The Kesselinger Bach carries the names Densbach , Auelbach , Blasweiler Bach and Staffeler Bach in the upper reaches . In other sources it arises from the confluence of the Staffeler Bach and Heckenbach .

The Kesselinger Bach rises as Densbach about one kilometer west of Schelborn . The source is located on the western slope of the Schneppsheid ( 595.7  m above sea  level ) at an altitude of approx. 509  m above sea level. NHN . From here the stream flows north and changes its name to Auelbach after about a kilometer . It flows past Blasweiler and gets a new name again: Blasweiler Bach . It turns to the west and passes below the mountain Auf der Nür ( 470  m above sea  level ) the Bad Neuenahr district of Ramersbach in the south. On his way he crosses under the state road 85 twice . He continues his way to the west as Staffeler Bach along the L 85 from Staffel to Kesseling . Here it takes up the Herschbach and flows as Kesselinger Bach on to Ahrbrück and flows into the Rhine tributary Ahr coming from the south .

Catchment area and tributaries

The 95 km² catchment area drains via the Ahr and Rhine to the North Sea .
