Aurelius
Aurelius (feminine form: Aurelia, plural: Aurelii) was the nomen gentile (family name) of the Roman gens Aurelia , which belonged to the plebeian families. The name is said to be derived from the name of the Sabine sun god Ausel, who is said to have the same origin as the Latin aurum "gold".
Numerous bearers of this name are known from the Roman Republic to late antiquity . To be emphasized are:
