Austin Stowell
Austin Miles Stowell (born December 24, 1984 in Kensington , Connecticut ) is an American actor .
Life
Austin Stowell was born in December 1984 in the town of Kensington, Hartford County , Connecticut, to Robert and Elizabeth Stowell. He grew up in Kensington and graduated from Berlin High School in 2003 . In 2007 he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut in Storrs.
His first role was the supporting role of Jesse in the youth series The Secret Life of the American Teenager . There he was seen in 17 episodes between 2009 and 2011. Guest appearances on the television series Navy CIS: LA and 90210 followed in 2010 . He got a bigger role in 2011 as Kyle Connellan in the feature film My Friend, the Dolphin , which also made him internationally known. In the following years he was in the films Puncture (2011) at the side of Chris Evans and in Love and Honor (2013) to see Liam Hemsworth's side . In June 2014 he took on the role of Kevin Carpenter alongside Selena Gomez and Nat Wolff in the feature film Behaving Badly . He will also appear again as Kyle Connellan in the 2014 sequel to My Friend the Dolphin .
Stowell was in a relationship with actress Nina Dobrev from summer 2015 to early 2016 . Their first joint appearance followed in October 2015.
