The Nahetal motorway triangle (abbreviation: AD Nahetal ; short form: Dreieck Nahetal ) is a motorway triangle in Rhineland-Palatinate near Bingen am Rhein . Here the federal highway 60 (Bingen - Rüsselsheim ) branches off from the federal highway 61 ( Venlo - Koblenz - Hockenheim ) ( Europastraße 42 ).
geography
The triangle is located in the municipality of Bingen am Rhein , surrounded by the districts of Dromersheim , Sponsheim , Dietersheim and the municipality of Ockenheim . The triangle is located about 30 km west of Mainz and about 15 km north of Bad Kreuznach .
The Nahetal motorway triangle has junction number 12 on the A 60 and number 50 on the A 61.
State of development
Both the A 60 and the A 61 have four lanes in this area. The connection from the A 60 to the A 61 in the direction of Koblenz has been expanded to two lanes. All other connections are single lane. The Nahetal triangle was originally intended as a motorway junction and was therefore once called the Bingen motorway junction . The original plan as a motorway junction can still be seen in the construction phase. The A 60 should be extended beyond the Nahetal triangle, which is no longer followed. Instead, it was connected to the local road network between 2006 and 2007. Consequently, the Nahetal triangle is a motorway triangle with an integrated junction. The connections between the A 61 and the local road network are made using the cloverleaf solution; the connections between the A 60 and the A 61 are tangent solutions. The ramp onto the A 61 in the direction of Ludwigshafen turns into the Bad Kreuznach exit after 3 km, the ramp on the A 60 in the direction of Koblenz on the A 61 becomes the Bingen-Ost exit.
