The motorway junction Bliesheim (abbreviation: AK Bliesheim ; short form: Kreuz Bliesheim ) is a motorway junction that connects the A 1 , A 61 and A 553 federal motorways . It is located immediately south of the Erftstadt district of Bliesheim in the south of Cologne .

The cross is built in the shape of a cloverleaf except for the semi-direct connecting ramp of the A1 from Euskirchen in the direction of Cologne . On the six-lane section of the motorway in the west, the A 1 runs together with the A 61. The A 553 to the north begins at the Bliesheim junction. In addition, the Europastraße 29 begins at Bliesheimer Kreuz and leads south on the A1 to the French border near Saarbrücken .

To the east was the Weilerswist junction (25) on the A 61 until 2007 , which shared the entry and exit areas with the motorway junction. Since then this junction is about 2 km further south.

The junction on the A1 is number 109, on the A 61 it is number 24 and on the A 553 it is number 1.

The Bliesheimer Kreuz was built in the early 1970s, when all three affected motorways were built.

The Erft flows not far from the motorway junction . It is also on the edge of the Kottenforst-Ville Nature Park .
