The Buchholzer Dreieck is a motorway triangle in Lower Saxony . It connects the federal highway 1 ( Heiligenhafen - Saarbrücken ; E 22 ) with the federal highway 261 ( corner connection Harburg ).
Design and state of development
The A1 to the east and the A 261 are four lanes. The A1 has had six lanes to the west since October 11, 2012.
The ramps on the Hamburg-Bremen route are two-lane, all others are single-lane.
Traffic volume
The triangle is used by around 86,500 vehicles every day.
