The triangle Stuhr from the air |
The motorway triangle Stuhr (abbreviation: AD Stuhr ; short form: Dreieck Stuhr ) is a motorway triangle in Lower Saxony in the north-west metropolitan region . It connects the federal highway 28 ( Leer - Delmenhorst ) with the federal highway 1 ( Heiligenhafen - Hamburg - Cologne - Saarbrücken ).
geography
The triangle lies in the urban area of Stuhr in the district of Diepholz . The surrounding towns and communities are Delmenhorst and Groß Ippener . The closest districts are Groß Mackenstedt , Barkendamm and Stelle, all of which belong to Stuhr. It is located about 10 km southwest of the Bremen city center, about 100 km northwest of Hanover and about 35 km southeast of Oldenburg .
The triangle is on the edge of the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park .
The Stuhr motorway triangle has junction number 26 on the A 28 and number 58 on the A 1.
history
The Stuhr triangle was created in 2006 as part of the further construction of the A 28 and its connection to the A 1. The Delmenhorst-Ost junction on the A 1 was partially dismantled so that a connection in the form of a motorway triangle could be built. This was then replaced by the Groß Mackenstedt junction , which forms a double junction with the triangle.
Design and state of development
The A 28 has four lanes, the A 1 has six lanes. All connecting ramps are single-lane.
The triangle was laid out as a left-handed trumpet.
Traffic volume
The triangle is used by around 93,000 vehicles every day.
