The Pankow motorway triangle (abbreviation: AD Pankow ; short form: Pankow triangle ) is a motorway triangle in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region north of Berlin . Here the federal motorway 114 branches off from the Berliner Ring (A 10). During the GDR era, the triangle was called the Pankow junction , as the A 114 connects the Berlin district of Pankow with the Berliner Ring.
geography
The triangle is located in Schönerlinde , district of Wandlitz , in the Barnim district , directly on the border with the Berlin district of Buch in the Pankow district. The closest communities in Brandenburg are Mühlenbecker Land ( Oberhavel district ) and Bernau near Berlin (Barnim district).
It is located about 15 kilometers north of central Berlin . Immediately to the southeast of the triangle in Berlin-Buch, the food discounter Netto Marken-Discount has a large logistics center.
The Pankow motorway triangle has junction number 1 on the A 114 and number 35 on the A 10.
Design and state of development
Both highways are four streaky removed, the connecting ramp Pankow- triangle Barnim einstreifig, all other ramps two-lane.
The triangle was designed as a left-handed trumpet .
The main route runs in a straight line from northwest to southeast as the A 10, the A 114 branches off to the south.
Traffic volume
The triangle is used by around 68,000 vehicles every day.
