BDZ is the first Japanese studio album by the South Korean girl group Twice . The album was released on September 12, 2018. The name BDZ is an abbreviation for Bulldozer .
background
Twice announced the album for the first time during a concert of their second tour "Twiceland Zone 2 - Fantasy Park" on June 3, 2018 in Osaka , Japan , but without giving any details. On June 28th it was announced that the album, named BDZ, would be released on September 12th. The single, which is also called BDZ , was written by JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young and was already available for download on August 17th. In addition to some unreleased songs, the album also contains the previously released singles One More Time, Candy Pop, Wake Me Up and The Jackson Five cover I Want You Back.
