The BOK Center (full name: Bank of Oklahoma Center ) is a multifunctional arena in the US city of Tulsa in the state of Oklahoma .
History and use
The building was designed by César Pelli . The foundation stone for the arena was laid on August 31, 2005. Up to the completion of the hall on August 30, 2008, the construction costs amounted to 196 million US dollars , which was financed privately and publicly. The Bank of Oklahoma owns the naming rights for the building, which can hold a maximum of 19,199 spectators. The hall is designed for concerts , shows and a wide variety of sports such as basketball , ice hockey , wrestling and arena football . The BOK Center is a popular concert arena.
