The Hertz Arena is a multi-purpose arena in the US American Village Estero , Lee County , in the southwest of the state of Florida . The venue is located between the cities of Fort Myers and Naples and is accessible via Exit 123 of Interstate 75 .

history

Opened in 1998, the arena has an area of ​​171,000  sq ft (approximately 15,886 m²) and seats 7,181 for ice hockey games. There are over 8500 seats available for concerts. It is also equipped with 26 luxury suites, four conference rooms and a sporting goods store. The restaurant in the event hall with a view of the ice rink has 220 seats. In addition to the main ice surface, two other ice surfaces are available for recreational sports. Surname

Initially the hall was named Everblades Arena after the Florida Everblades . In 1999, TECO Energy Inc. became a name sponsor with a 20-year contract . Five years later, the name changed to Germain Arena , after the Germain Automotive Group . In September 2018, the renaming of the sports facility in Hertz Arena , through an agreement with the Estero-based Hertz Corporation , became known.
