The Syracuse – Ragusa line was a narrow-gauge railway in Sicily operated by SAFS . It connected the port city of Syracuse with the city of Ragusa via the valley of the river Anapo .

It was opened in 1915–1922. After the Second World War , the Giarratana – Ragusa section was closed in 1949 and the rest of it in 1956. The route led in the middle section of the Anapotal through the ancient necropolis of Pantalica , this section of the route is now used as a hiking trail.

The Giarratana – Vizzini railway branched off in Giarratana .
