The Vercelli – Pavia railway is a standard-gauge railway in Italy .

history

The construction of the line was approved by Law No. 5002 (so-called Legge Baccarini ) in 1879 . The route was planned as a section of a connection between Vercelli and Stradella , from which the routes Cava Manara-Cava-Carbonara and Pavia-Stradella were created.

It was opened in 1882-1883.
