Marieme integrated quickly, now carries a jackknife with her, extorts money from students and steals clothes with the group that she wears at a small hotel room party. Lady, the leader of the group, gives her a necklace with the inscription "Vic" for "Victoire". Marieme leaves the group as soon as she gets home. Here her brother is in charge, he controls his eldest sister and is always concerned about the reputation of the family. Therefore, Marieme does not admit to him that she has fallen in love with his best friend Ismaël.

Lady is defeated in a duel; Images of her on the floor, wearing only a bra as a top, spread quickly and lead to the humiliation of the whole group. Lady's hair is cut off by her father as a punishment. Marieme organizes her own duel with the other to avenge Lady and wins. Lady says that Marieme also fought the fight for herself. Marieme ensures that she doesn't have to work as a cleaning lady like her. She also deepens her relationship with Ismaël, with whom she finally sleeps in one night.

One day when Marieme is out with her group, she sees her little sister trying to rob a young woman with other girls. She is sobered and goes home with her. At home she is waiting for her brother, who has found out about her relationship with Ismaël and beats her up. She takes refuge in a café, where drug dealer and pimp Abou becomes aware of her. She agrees to work for him as a drug courier. In return, he organizes her own apartment in a distant district. She ignores the concerns of her friends, so that there is a break between her and the clique. However, she maintains contact with Ismaël, but he is confused about her new life: Marieme dresses like a boy, cuts her hair short and ties her chest. He goes. When Marieme is harassed by Abou at a party, she flees. She goes to Ismaël, who apologizes for his behavior and proposes marriage to her, as she regains her honor and is considered a "good girl". Marieme refuses the application because she does not want to lead a life as a good girl. She goes to the skyscraper in which her family lives, but does not dare to enter the house. She starts to cry. A short time later she calmed down and started walking with a determined expression on her face.
