Winner of the French film award Prix Lumières in the category Best Film ( Meilleur film ). The French foreign press has been giving its awards to the best film productions and filmmakers every year since 1996, retrospectively for the previous cinema year.

In 12 out of 24 cases, the award-winning film matched the eventual César winner , most recently in 2018 with the awarding of the prize to Robin Campillos 120 BPM .
