Bardo Böhlefeld

Bardo Böhlefeld (born March 5, 1988 in Rome ) is a German actor .

Life

Böhlefeld's mother (Jaleh Böhlefeld) is Iranian, his father (Ingo Böhlefeld) is German. The parents met in Tehran at the German embassy. He and his younger brother were finally born in Rome before the family lived in Johannesburg from 1990 to 1996 and where Bardo attended the German School in Johannesburg . After that, the family moved to Wesseling near Bonn for work and lived there for three years before the government moved to Berlin .

From then on he attended elementary school on Buschgraben and later went to the Werner-von-Siemens high school in Zehlendorf, where he graduated from high school in 2008.

From 2009 to 2013 he studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts . Guest engagements at the Deutsches Theater Berlin , Hans-Otto Theater Potsdam , Theater Strahl Berlin and the United Theaters in Bozen followed . From 2014 to 2017 he was part of the ensemble of the Deutsches Theater Göttingen under the direction of Erich Sidler . There he worked with Erich Sidler, Lucia Bihler and Thomas Dannemann , among others . For his portrayal as Schmitz in Biedermann and the arsonists - directed by Lucia Bihler - he received the young talent award of the Deutsches Theater Göttingen. In his previous film and television roles, he has acted alongside actors such as Emily Cox , Jannik Schümann and Sabin Tambrea . From 2017 to 2019 Bardo Böhlefeld was involved in several guest engagements, including a. at the Schauspiel Hannover , Schauspielhaus Wien and at the Berliner Ensemble .

Bardo Böhlefeld has been a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble since the 2019/20 season .
