Lucia Bihler
Lucia Bihler (born January 22, 1988 in Munich ) is a German theater director .
Artistic career
Bihler studied acting directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin as well as a master's semester in choreography . During her studies she founded the company gold & hiebe and realized projects at the bat studio theater , the Ballhaus Ost and the Maxim Gorki Theater . This was followed by productions at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen , the Theater Lübeck , the Schauspiel Leipzig , the Staatstheater Oldenburg , the Schauspiel Hannover and the Schauspielhaus Wien , where she recently brought out an adaptation of Robert Menasse's novel Die Hauptstadt . With this production, she is invited to the Munich Festival in 2019 at Radikal Jung. As in-house director at the Volksbühne Berlin, she has also been a member of the artistic direction there since 2019 .
