The qualification for the Basketball World Cup 2023 is a global competition to determine the participants in the World Cup finals in the Philippines , Japan and Indonesia in 2023.

With the exception of the host countries, 29 of the 32 selection teams participating in the final round will qualify via the qualifying competition for the 2023 World Cup final round. In principle, all 213 national associations are registered for the qualifying competition, with the continental associations partially making a preselection of the qualification for their continental finals , so that, as before, previous competitions count towards World Cup qualification.

Qualification FIBA ​​Europe

The actual qualification rounds are preceded by a pre-qualification with eight teams between February 20, 2020 and February 21, 2021. The top two in each group advance to the next qualifying round.
