Belinda Woolcock (born January 24, 1995 in Melbourne ) is an Australian tennis player .

Career

Woolcock, who loves to play hard courts, started playing tennis at the age of five. So far she has won one singles and six doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit .

She played her first tournament on the WTA Tour in 2012 . She received a wild card to qualify for the 2012 Moorilla Hobart International . There Woolcock lost to Kristina Barrois with 0: 6 and 3: 6.

In 2016, she also started with a wildcard in qualifying for the Hobart International 2016 . There she lost 4: 6 and 4: 6 to the Spanish María Teresa Torró Flor in the first qualifying round .

For the Australian Open 2016 she received a wildcard for the main draw in doubles. At the side of her compatriot Ellen Perez , however, she failed in the first round 4: 6 and 2: 6 against Jessica Moore and Storm Sanders .

In December 2017 she won the Australian Open-Australian-Wildcard-Playoffs in doubles, with which she earned a wildcard for the main draw of the Australian Open 2018 . She won the final with Astra Sharma against Destanee Aiava / Tammi Patterson 6: 1, 3: 6, [10: 3].
