Ben Bela Boehm
Ben Bela Böhm (born July 22, 1975 in Gummersbach ) is a German actor , voice actor and director .
Life
Ben Bela Böhm did his Abitur at the Grotenbach-Gymnasium in Gummersbach. In a school production he played the lead role in Moliere's comedy Tartuffe . As a schoolboy he was part of the ensemble of the Oberberg Drama Studio.
Ben Bela Böhm completed his acting training from 1996 to 2000 at the Conservatory for Music and Theater in Bern . Then he was engaged at the Braunschweig State Theater until 2003 . After appearing in the series Streit um drei , Böhm was given a leading role in the series Verschollen .
From November 2005 to March 2006 Böhm played the leading role of Maximilian Grebe in Sophie - Bride Against Will .
He then took on roles on The Basil Brush Show (2007) and Morris: A Life With Bells On, starring Naomie Harris , Dominique Pinon , Derek Jacobi and Ian Hart . In 2008 he appeared as a supporting actor in the thriller Illuminati with Tom Hanks and Armin Mueller-Stahl .
From May 1, 2009 to February 24, 2010 he was in the ZDF - Telenovela Alisa - Follow your heart as Dr. Paul Hartmann to see. He took over this role from Andi Slawinski .
In autumn 2010, Ben Bela Böhm was engaged for the TV feature film Sonntagskinder, based on a novel by Rosamunde Pilcher , where he appeared as the musician Andrew (main role in the episode). In 2013 the film Bela Kiss: Prologue was released in German cinemas, in which he plays the role of Felix.
He lives and works in Berlin and Los Angeles.
