Naomie Harris
Naomie Melanie Harris , OBE (born September 6, 1976 in London ) is a British actress of Jamaican descent. She became famous for the film 28 Days Later , as Tia Dalma in the Pirates of the Caribbean films and as Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond films Skyfall , Specter and No Time to Die .
Life
Naomie Harris is the daughter of screenwriter Lisselle Kayla, a Jamaican . She grew up in her native London with her single mother. Harris studied social and political science at Pembroke College , Cambridge . She then trained as an actress at the Bristol Old Vic Theater School . She is a Buddhist .
Harris already played in film and television projects as a child and adolescent, but then took time out to study. In 2002, she gained notoriety with the end time - horror film 28 Days Later by Danny Boyle . In 2004, she starred alongside Salma Hayek and Pierce Brosnan in the rogue comedy After the Sunset . In 2006 she was in Miami Vice , the remake of the television series of the same name, in the role of Trudy Joplin to see. She also played the medium Tia Dalma on the side of Johnny Depp in the successful films Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Caribbean 2 (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean - At the end of the world (2007) .
