Bernsdorf is a district of the town of Schönewalde in the Elbe-Elster district in Brandenburg .

The place is located southwest of the core town of Schönewalde on the B 101 , which joins the B 187 to the north and the B 87 to the south . The state border with Saxony-Anhalt runs not far to the west. The Schwarze Elster , a right tributary of the Elbe, flows southwest . West - in the district of Wittenberg - extends the approximately 212 ha large nature reserve Alte Elster and Rohrborn meadows .
