Bert Jammaer (born March 1, 1980 ) is a former Belgian triathlete and two-time Ironman winner (2008, 2009).

Career

Bert Jammaer started a triathlon for the first time in 1992. His uncle Jan was internationally successful as a triathlete in the 1980s.

The trained firefighter has already won the long-distance triathlon twice (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling, 42.195 km running) on ​​Lanzarote and came second there in 2010.

He is trained by Bart Decru . Jammaer now lives in Boom with his wife and two children . He has not appeared in international competitions since 2015.
