Bettenbach is a settlement in the district Mörlenbach the town of Mörlenbach in the Bergstraße district in Hesse .

Geographical location

Bettenbach is located in the southwest of the Mörlenbach district in the western Odenwald near the Bergstrasse . The settlement mainly follows the valley of the Bettenbach , a right western tributary of the Weschnitz , for almost a kilometer . Apart from two or three agricultural homesteads at the western end of the village, Bettenbach consists of around 85 inhabited properties, which are spread over two parallel local streets in uninterrupted development. At the eastern end of the village there is a connection to the first houses of the core community of Mörlenbach via an industrial park. To the south of Bettenbach there is a wooded area called Hohenrain and to the north of the settlement is the Willenberg (215 m), which is largely used for agriculture .
