The Betz is a river in France that runs through the regions of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté , Center-Val de Loire and Île-de-France . It rises in the municipality of Domats , generally drains west to northwest and flows 34 kilometers on the northern outskirts of Dordives as a right tributary into the Loing , which is accompanied in this area by the Canal du Loing as a side canal . On its way, the Betz crosses the Yonne and Loiret departments and briefly touches the Seine-et-Marne .
