Beyond Creation is a Canadian technical death metal band from Montreal that was formed in 2005.
history
The band was founded in 2005 by the guitarist and singer Simon Girard and the guitarist Nicolas Domingo Viotto. In the first few years there were no other suitable musicians, so the group could not perform live. After three years, Kevin Chartré, a colleague of Simon Girard, presented the band with Guyot Bégin-Benoit, a suitable drummer. After a few test recordings, guitarist Nicolas Domingo Viotto left the band and Kevin Chartré took over his position. In January 2010 Dominic "Forest" Lapointe joined the band as bassist. A year later, the debut album The Aura was self-published. At the end of 2012, Philippe Boucher joined the line-up as the new drummer. After the band had signed a record deal with Season of Mist in February 2013 , the debut album with bonus songs was released in the same year. They also went on tour through North America with Cannibal Corpse , Napalm Death and Immolation, as well as another tour through Japan with Vomitory . In the following year concerts and festival participation as well as tours through the USA and Canada followed. The second album Earthborn Evolution was released towards the end of the year . Then we went on tour through Australia with Ne Obliviscaris and on a second tour of Japan with Mors Principium Est . The year 2015 began with the addition of bassist Hugo Doyon-Karout before they went on tour with Arch Enemy , Born of Osiris , Veil of Maya , The Acacia Strain and Cattle Decapitation . In the summer the group took part in various festivals such as Heavy MTL and Amnesia Rockfest . Towards the end of the year further tours followed with Hate Eternal and Misery Index . In early 2016 the band took part in the NAMM Show to represent their partnership with the guitar manufacturer Strandberg. This was followed by a first tour of Mexico , before concerts with Gorod in eastern Canada followed.
style
The band plays technically very demanding death metal and is compared to other bands in the genre such as Neuraxis or Augury . The electric guitar and drums are played precisely, and their tempo varies.
