The District Museum Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus is a district and local museum dedicated to the 15th Viennese district Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus .

The Rudolfsheim-Fünfhauser Heimatstube association founded in May 1964 was initially geared towards collecting suitable exhibits. Seven years later, the museum was given some rooms on the ground floor of the office building at Rosinagasse 4. It was opened in June 1972 with the exhibition “Die Westbahn”. The first museum director was Brigitte Kaufmann, a special education teacher. 1993-94 the renovation of the district museum took place. In May 1998 the permanent exhibition on the district history was opened.

The museum, located in an immigrant district rich in children, was particularly family-oriented from the start. Thanks to an EU project (as part of Urban 2000 ), a children's library was set up. Discussions with women were also organized. The “KinderKulturTreffpunkt 15”, a socio-cultural integration project in the Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district museum, has offered children from 6 to 12 years of age cultural activities such as readings, (district) historical workshops, music performances, etc. once a month since 2000. In 2001, the “Children's Culture Meeting Point 15” was awarded the “ Museum Prize for Communication with Museums ”.

In 2007 the “Culture & Café” project was launched and has since offered a wide range of lectures.

The current management team of the museum consists of Brigitte Neichl and Eva Müller.
