Bill Miller (actually William Waring Miller ; born November 1, 1912 in Dodge City , Kansas , † November 13, 2008 in Paradise Valley , Arizona ) was an American pole vaulter and Olympic champion .

On July 16, 1932, at the US Trials, William Graber jumped 4.37 meters and improved Lee Barnes' world record by seven centimeters. Second was the young Bill Miller, who set the old world record with 4.30 meters.

At the Olympic Games in 1932 Graber was only fourth with 4.15 meters, while Miller was able to increase his personal best to 4.315 meters and became Olympic champion.

Bill Miller was 1.72 m tall and weighed 79 kg during his playing days.
