Birgit Linauer

Birgit Linauer (* 1970 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Birgit Linauer studied drama at the Salzburg Mozarteum and in Vienna with Mechtild Hauptmann. She completed her training in 1992 with a diploma. Then she was engaged at the Vienna Volkstheater until 1995 , where she could be seen as Marie in A Joke He Wants to Make , as Agnès in the women's school and as Rea in Romulus the Great . As a result, she had engagements at the Melk and Kobersdorf Summer Games, at the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof , at the Theater in der Josefstadt and at the Theater am Lend in Graz .

From 1996 to 2002 she played the role of receptionist and later HR manager Josephine "Pepi" Maybach in the television series Schlosshotel Orth at the side of Hans Kraemmer as porter Josef Schimek, in the Kaisermühlen Blues she played the role of Sandra Pieringer in 1998/99.

She has been teaching drama and role design at the Krauss drama school since 2008. In 2016 she was in front of the camera for filming one episode each of the television series Tatort and SOKO Kitzbühel as well as for the film Licht by director Barbara Albert . In 2016 she also made her directorial debut at the Wachau cultural festival in real time (artistic director Ursula Strauss ) with the play Orphans by Dennis Kelly .
